Hey Everybody,
I don’t know if you have been catching this topic on the internet news sites lately but it’s something to be aware of. Photographers are being challenged taking pictures in public places as a possible act of terrorism and some are being harrassed.
A couple links I’ve found recently…
Fight for your Right to Take Photos”
http://www.dslrdoctor.com/articles/page/fight_for_your_right_to_take_photos/
“Are photographers really a threat?”
http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/jun/05/news.terrorism
The above article has a link (http://www.krages.com/phoright.htm) to a card which can be carried by a photographer in the case that he is questioned by a citizen or the Authorities.
My Friend Ryan who runs a security blog has also posted on the subject…

Regards,
Tom Meeks
